Dear Al and Lynda,
Thank you for the opportunity to spend two days with you at your center. Your passion for your program is so apparent.
The thing that perhaps impressed me most, in talking with you and your clients, is the way Victory Walk picks up where other programs and therapies end. Clients who arrive in frustration, having completed their prescribed physical therapies, receive new hope that they can, with a personally designed plan for their level of spinal cord injury, progress and even walk again. And the high percentage of men and women who are once again walking using the Dardenski Method is exciting to me.
One area that I can see a need in at Victory Walk involves the financial burden that frequent therapy sessions place on a family or individual. A scholarship fund, to ease that burden and allow some to attend who cannot currently receive this recovery training, would be so helpful.
Please accept this gift to use for your greatest need or apply it to scholarships.
Very sincerely,
Sharron Penny
